Today 2 years ago, I started with a urban adventure, never tought after 2 years I would stil do it.
My first adventure was to the sanatorium of Buizingen, at that moment I search places for modellingshoots.
But after I walk in, I discovered the beauty of empty places.
The light, the colours, the memories inside.
At that moment I know what I wanted to do of fotografiestyle.
And now after 2 years I'm somewhere around 40 places I visited and so many still to do.

*Sometimes we where to late at places, that they started demolisching of renoveted the place.

*Sometimes we discovered strange and creepy things, like x-rays from people, bloods on the floor or windows, needles, stuff from the people that they left behind ( like pictures, wish- and birthay carts), food still laying in the kitchen.

*Sometimes we met people, not always exploraters, also people that are just walking there for fun, police, junkies, dog, a gard, nude models.

*Sometimes we walk into dangerous places, places where holes are in the floor, that bricks falls down, where dangerous stuff laying on the floor, or where the stairs are complite rotten or gone.

* Sometimes I think of stopping with it, centainly after my fall in a hole, I'm a little afraid of the dark now, scared that I will fall again in a hole. But than I think of the many adventure, the kicks, the beautiful places, the experience, the friendships, the funny things ( eating pannecakes after it, getting lost in a factory and searching the way out), the ways of entering in a place and so much more.

For my the greatest places that I visited was a militaire kazerne in Liege, just because of my 2 granddads have done they militaire training there, one of the two was there during Wo2,for my it was great to be there. I can only imagion what I would be during that time.

For my the worst place is the swamp hotel, It's a place that give my the creeps, centainly after my fall, I don't wanted ever to return to that place.

The funny'st thing that happend,that for a other time, I can not keep on telling and they are to much of it.

But for so far my feelings and experience of my adventures, hopely it don't bored you to much.

De 7 Hoofdzonden door de ogen van de Vrouw'- Lovenjoel

Van 24 tot 30 augustus 2008, weekdagen van 14 u tot 21 u., weekend van 11 u.tot 21 u. (behalve op 30 augustus, 11 u.tot 16 u.)

21 fotografes, 7 hoofdzonden, 7 dagen.

Door de eeuwen heen werden de 7 hoofdzonden al verschillende malen in beeld gebracht.
Het waren vooral de mannen die zich hier mee bezig hielden.
In de moderne wereld van nu, laten we de 7 hoofdzonden over aan de vrouwen.

21 vrouwen laten je door hun ogen kijken. 21 fotografes gingen de uitdaging aan om hoogmoed, hebzucht, onkuisheid, jaloezie, woede, vraatzucht en vadsigheid in beeld te brengen.
7 hoofdzonden die nog tot op de dag van vandaag in onze samenleving voorkomen.
7 dagen dat we iedereen verwelkomen en onderdompelen in deze thematiek.

After a few weeks of disconnected of the world I'm back online
Mean while I had have a few urbanadventure.
One better than the other.
The first was a ride to Hotel Cosmos and a old mansion.
Mansion was bad luck, place was shut down so we decided to continue to the hotel,after a short holiday in France and back in Belguim we found it
After a rainy day we finiched the day with a hot cup coffee or hot chocolat

The second was to antwerp and was a little catastrofy, every place we knew was demolischt
Only picture is from a old abonded police station that we found whitout knowing that it was there
And that day finisched so to with rain and ended in a taverne with tomatosoup

Last but not least, i went back to my first urbanplace, a old sanatorium in Buizingen, now restaured to a day care hospital, was nice to see to such a wonderfull place was put back to a active place.
